Olivetree Mandarin's Survival Chinese lessons help students make it in the real world. Using real-life dialogues, students will learn the words and sentence patterns necessary to communicate in survival situations.
Survival Chinese has two levels:
Level 1: In five lessons learn some useful sentences and words frequently used in daily life. Contexts include making introductions, dining out, discussing prices, asking directions, seeing a doctor, and buying tickets.
Level 2: In 30 lessons cover key topics in daily life, such as greetings, friendship, shopping, invitations, restaurants, clubs and bars, dates and times, likes and dislikes, travel and transportation, and compliments. Students will learn 200-250 new words, 80-100 sentence patterns, and basic grammar.
